Read about what SquareOne is doing to keep patients and staff safe.

SquareOne Physio values your health and safety as our highest priority.

Last Update: 24/08/21

Physiotherapy is classed as an essential medical appointment and patients are allowed to attend an appointment at SquareOne as part of the stay at home order.

Your health is important, as is consistency & continuity of care and we are here for all your health concerns. If your condition will suffer by not attending treatment, we encourage you to attend your appointment.

Our groups exercise sessions have been suspended until 24th Sept. You will be able to continue with 1:1 sessions or attend a group session virtually.

It is mandatory to check-in via the Service NSW QR code for anyone entering our clinics. These codes will be displayed as you enter, please scan in and show our reception team. If you don’t have a smartphone, just let our team know and we will manually enter your details.

We will continue to provide our services in a Covid safe way including:

  • Mandatory mask-wearing by staff and patients
  • Hand sanitisers provided
  • Service NSW QR check-in codes for all visitors to our clinics
  • Applying appropriate social distancing within the practice
  • Increased cleaning efforts to pandemic level

Those who are symptomatic or who have visited any of the listed venues by NSW health, please get tested and stay at home.

We are screening all patients and team members to ensure they are safe.

ONGOING MEASURES

We want you to know that we are monitoring the coronavirus situation closely and are adjusting our practices as needed and advised based on advice from the Department of Health and our professional body, The Australian Physiotherapy Association. We are constantly updating our measures to help minimize the spread and appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we all work together to do so. We would like to reassure our patients that we are taking all possible measures to ensure the clinics are operating hygienically.

Health care settings, such as ours, are exempt from regular social distancing requirements, however we have made many changes to ensure you are still able to access your Physiotherapist knowing you are safe.

We will continue to practice the key principles of infection control including hand hygiene, cough etiquette and high cleaning standards. We ask that you postpone your therapy session if you are feeling unwell. We will keep up to date with the Department of Health and NSW Health’s policies and developments.

All staff are required to declare their health status – we ask that patients extend the same courtesy prior to appointment. Please be mindful of any cold and flu symptoms and postpone treatment if any illness should be present.

We have provided hand sanitiser in rooms, in our rehab areas and at our front desk. Please make use of this on arrival and departure of the clinic.

We have removed all linen within the clinics to ensure all surfaces can be wiped down entirely. Please provide your own towel if you expect to be exercising.

As health professionals, our team operate using the highest hygiene standards and this includes continuous cleaning of the clinic environment.

If you feel unwell at any time, we respectfully ask that you do not enter our clinics. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment at no cost.

It is our priority to keep you safe and well during this time.

It is important to remember that SquareOne Physio is a small professional business that relies upon your sensitivity and cooperation to maintain a livelihood during these uncertain times.
