Before we have had a chance to blink,.. February is here (and almost gone) and we are well into 2013. We have dedicated our newsletter this month to our growing older population and have focused on Falls prevention and Osteoporosis. Given that 1 in 3 people over 65 fall each year it is something that is close to home for all of us and our families. So please pass this information onto your loved ones and if you feel they need some help with their balance then we would be delighted to assist them in improving it. They can see one of our Physiotherapists for an exercise program or perhaps join our weekly Falls Prevention Exercise class.
Sally has returned from another specialised womens health course where she learnt the latest in assessing women who have recently had a baby in their readiness to return to exercise. Campbell has headed down to the AIS this week with the Junior Wallabies for their first selection camp as they begin their campaign for the 2013 Junior World Cup to be held in France later this year.
