Are you looking for a tailored postnatal rehab plan? Do you find it difficult to commit to regular exercise due to childcare arrangements falling through?
At SquareOne Women’s Health, we have a clinical exercise stream dedicated to postnatal rehab, and all of our classes are kid-friendly! All our classes are run by physiotherapists and tailored to each individual.
The postnatal rehab pathway is delivered through 2 classes:
- ‘Mums and Bubs’ for early postnatal rehab
- ‘Clinical Exercise – Kid-Friendly’ for intermediate-late stage postnatal rehab
This pathway provides a good opportunity for mums to progress from that early stage of postnatal rehabilitation to then continue their rehabilitation with the bonus of being about to bring their bub/child to the clinical exercise class.
The good news is that if you were in a newborn daze and missed that early postnatal rehabilitation stage then you can join in the Clinical Exercise – Kid Friendly Classes.
Our postnatal classes are run by Women’s Health physiotherapists with a special interest in pre and postnatal care. We have several classes on our weekly timetable so that you can pick and choose which classes work for you.

Mums and Bubs
‘Mums and Bubs’ is a small group class aimed at early postnatal rehab. It is appropriate for mums from 6 weeks postnatal and is a combination of mat work and reformer Pilates. In this class, we work on the foundations of pelvic floor and abdominal rehab. We also work on arm, leg and back strength to help you keep up with the demands of looking after a growing baby.
Clinical Exercise – kid-friendly
Our kid-friendly clinical exercise classes are the next step in your postnatal rehab journey. These classes are run as a semi-private session (max 3 participants) and you are welcome to bring your kids/bubs with you. These classes are open to all mums with kids even if you didn’t do the Mums and Bubs classes. In this class, we build on the foundations of postnatal rehab and work towards your goals, be it running a marathon or running after your children without injury! In this class, we use a range of gym and Pilates equipment (reformer, chair, Cadillac, barrel) to ensure a fun and challenging class.
