
Deirdre (Dee) is an Irish Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who graduated with First-Class Honours in The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2013 with a BSc in Physiotherapy and further sought qualifications in Dry needling and Pilates.
Keen to broaden her horizons, she moved to Sydney in 2015 to further gain experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and further sought training in the area of Women’s Health. Dee believes that Women’s Health Physiotherapy can have such a positive impact on the quality of life of women across all life stages. She has a deep understanding of pelvic mechanics and its relationship to core stability and function. Dee can provide physiotherapy management of pelvic floor issues, incontinence, pelvic pain, bladder problems and pre/postnatal care. She has a special interest in returning postpartum women to running. Dee is an experienced pilates instructor to all levels who enjoys the benefits of teaching in very small classes. Dee finds genuine pleasure in helping her patients achieve and exceed their goals.
