Lauren Gradwell

Lauren is originally a proud Novocastrian. She studied Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle and has since completed the Master of Sports Physiotherapy postgraduate degree at La Trobe University. Lauren has a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries and in particular shoulder injuries. While Lauren enjoys treating injuries, she also has a passion for preventative injury management and performance enhancement. This passion has led Lauren to lecture on Level 2 Sports Physio courses and to formulate Injury Prevention Programs for thousands of athletes.

Lauren competed in high level softball and netball. As a physiotherapist Lauren has worked at the Commonwealth Games and held positions with the Sydney Blue Sox, Newcastle Jets, NSW netball, NSW softball, NSW rugby league and the Hunter Academy of Sport.

Lauren is now a busy wife and mum of two children and two beagle fur babies. In any spare time she has, you will still find her down at our local park run, the beach or teaching for our junior physiotherapists.
