Prepare for Birth with Confidence
Delivered in partnership with Born Ready and SquareOne Physio, this physio-led birth education program supports you and your partner to build strength, gain knowledge, and feel prepared for every stage of your birth journey.
What is the Born Ready Program?
In collaboration with Born Ready, you’ll complete a self-paced 2.5 hours of recommended online content + 1 hour of option online content followed by a face-to-face workshop led by our expert practitioners. In the year there are various 2-hour face-to-face practical workshop at SquareOne Balgowlah clinic. This workshop is for both you and your partner.
Born Ready also provides content for exercise classes for strength and pelvic floor in pregnancy, as well as advice on postpartum care. This program provides your partner and you with well-rounded, practical knowledge—helping you feel confident, informed, and prepared for birth. It’s about ensuring you have the right tools, insights, and support to approach your birth journey with clarity and calm.
The Born Ready Program combines expert physiotherapy guidance with insights from midwives and obstetricians, supporting both your body and mind throughout pregnancy. All of which is provided to support the lifetime access to the online content – you can repeat the online modules for your next birth as a refresher.
Whether you’re planning a vaginal birth, caesarean, or still exploring your options, this program equips you with the knowledge and confidence to feel prepared for all possibilities.
When to attend SquareOne's Born Ready workshop?
You and your partner can attend SquareOne’s workshop at any time. However, most find the workshop most helpful in the third trimester (>28 weeks).
At around 28 weeks birth feels closer and the tools are easier to remember and use. Around this time the body is more “birth‑ready,” so practising positions and partner techniques feels more natural. While you and your partner can attend at anytime the third trimester is close enough to birth to be relevant, with plenty of time to practise before labour.

Born Ready vs birth prep
What's the difference?
Birth Prep is our one‑on‑one physiotherapy program that looks specifically at your body — your pelvic floor, your movement patterns, your pregnancy history and your goals. Every pregnancy is different, whether it’s your first, a refresher, or you’re planning a vaginal birth after a caesarean.
Born Ready is a practical, education‑focused workshop designed for pregnant people and their partners. It gives you both the knowledge, tools and confidence to approach labour feeling prepared and supported. It’s all about understanding how birth works, learning positions, pain management strategies, hands‑on techniques and partner strategies — without any physical assessments or individualised programming.
Doing both gives you the best of both worlds: personalised assessment and guidance for your body, plus a practical workshop that equips you and your partner with shared strategies for labour. Together, they help you feel informed, confident and ready for birth in every sense.
